Does This Sound Familiar?

You care about each other, but lately it may feel harder and harder to reach one another.

  • Simple conversations quickly turn into arguments, defensiveness, withdrawal, or silence.
  • You keep returning to the same disagreements without ever feeling like they’re truly resolved.
  • One or both of you feels unheard, misunderstood, unappreciated, rejected, or alone.
  • You feel more like roommates or co-parents, than partners.
  • Affection, friendship, trust, or intimacy has faded, and you miss the relationship you once shared.
  • You’ve tried talking through the issues, reading relationship advice, or seeking help before, but you still don’t know how to change the patterns keeping you stuck.

Perhaps you’ve found yourself wondering:

“Why do we keep ending up here?”

or

“How do we get back to the way we used to be?”

I understand how discouraging it can feel when you love someone but can’t seem to connect. You don’t have to figure it out alone.

Your Marriage Can Feel Different

Most couples don’t enjoy living in a cycle of conflict, distance, and misunderstanding. Many are simply exhausted from trying without seeing results that actually stick. That’s where I can help.

Together, we will work toward helping you:

Communicate Without Escalating

Express your thoughts, feelings, and needs more clearly—and learn how to listen without immediately becoming defensive, dismissive, or overwhelmed.

Navigate Conflict in Healthier Ways

Recognize unproductive patterns, manage difficult conversations more effectively, and learn how to repair hurt instead of allowing resentment to grow.

Rebuild Friendship and Connection

Create more emotional closeness, affection, enjoyment, and intentional time together so that you can feel like partners again.

Strengthen Trust and Intimacy

Address the patterns that have weakened safety and connection while building habits that support emotional and physical intimacy.

Become a Stronger Team

Develop a shared vision for your marriage, align your priorities, and learn how to approach challenges together instead of treating each other like the enemy.

Create a Roadmap for a Thriving Marriage

Move beyond temporary improvements and develop a clearer vision for the relationship you want and steps that can help you intentionally build it together.

A Hope-Filled Approach

Every relationship has its own history, challenges, strengths, and hopes for the future. Your coaching experience should reflect that.

We’ll begin by understanding the concerns that led you to seek help in the first place. Together we’ll identify deeper patterns affecting your relationship that may be contributing to the conflict, communication issues, or disconnection.

From there, you’ll learn tools and relationship skills to help you better understand one another, communicate more effectively, navigate conflict in healthier ways, and begin creating new patterns that support the marriage you desire.

Gain Clarity

We will explore what is happening in your relationship, what keeps resurfacing, and what each of you hopes will be different.

Learn Necessary Skills

You will learn communication and relationship tools that are relevant to your specific concerns—not generic advice that leaves you wondering how to apply it.

Practice Healthier Conversations

You will have opportunities to practice having important conversations during your sessions, while receiving personalized guidance and feedback in real time.

Apply What You Are Learning

You’ll leave your sessions with practical next steps that can help you continue building healthier habits outside of your coaching sessions. These can include practice exercises and homework assignments.

My coaching style is compassionate, direct, educational, collaborative, and forward-focused. The goal is not simply to talk about the problems. It’s to change the unhealthy patterns and mindsets, and develop the skills and healthy habits to help you begin making meaningful and sustainable changes towards the marriage you desire.

Meet Nadine Stewart

Marriage and Relationship Coach, Educator, Podcaster, Author, and Speaker

I understand how discouraging it can feel when you love someone but can’t seem to connect anymore. My goal is to create a safe, encouraging environment where both partners feel heard and respected, while also helping each person recognize the changes within their control.

Together, we’ll explore the patterns that keep resurfacing and learn healthier ways to communicate, navigate conflict, rebuild connection, strengthen friendship, and create a roadmap toward a thriving relationship.

I have never met anyone who genuinely enjoys being stuck in a negative cycle—and neither do I. That’s why I make it a priority to instill hope in every couple I work with. We’ll address what’s not working, but we’ll also spend meaningful time creating a vision for the relationship you want and developing the essential steps to help you move toward it.

My Christian faith has deeply shaped who I am, how I view marriage, and the values I bring to my work. At the same time, clients do not need to be Christian to work with me. I welcome couples from different backgrounds, and biblical wisdom can be incorporated for couples who desire it.

What is Marriage & Relationship Coaching?

Marriage and Relationship Coaching focuses on taking your relationship from where it currently is, to where you desire for it to be. As a Coach, I strongly believe that couples don’t have to settle for a mediocre marriage, nor do you have to accept the fate of an unhealthy relationship. Marriages are meant to thrive and I show couples exactly how you can implement sustainable change in your own relationship so you can have a healthy marriage that you can enjoy and model for your children.

During your sessions, we will take a deep dive into your relationship history; identify habits, patterns, and beliefs that have brought you to this point as a couple and individual; remove roadblocks that make you stuck; and teach you the proven tools and techniques, healthy habits, researched-based principles, and effective mindset that will help you to communicate more effectively, resolve conflict in a healthy way, create greater connection and intimacy, and enjoy a friendship with one another once again.

I tend to be forward-thinking and goal-driven in my approach, spending less time dwelling on past issues, and more time working towards the necessary changes and behavior modifications needed to achieve the outcome and healthy relationship we all desire to have. (Of course there will be instances when we will spend more time understanding and breaking down past issues, as it can sometimes help determine the best way to move forward).

As a Coach, I don’t diagnose or treat medical or psychological conditions; and I am not an attorney or mental health counselor.

Not Sure Whether Coaching Is Right For You?

Deciding to seek help for your relationship can feel like a significant step—especially when you’re unsure what to expect, whether your partner will be comfortable, or whether coaching is the right kind of support for your situation.

That’s why I offer a complimentary 15-minute virtual consultation.

During the call, we can briefly discuss what’s going on in your relationship that has led you to reach out, answer your initial questions, and determine whether my approach may be a good fit for your relationship.

There is no pressure to make a decision during the call.

What Clients Are Saying

Many of my clients reach out to me after years of repeating the same painful patterns—and often after trying other forms of relationship support without experiencing the progress they hoped for.

While every relationship requires honesty, effort, and a commitment to make changes, many of the couples I work with experience meaningful progress. They leave with greater understanding, practical tools they can actually use, and a clearer roadmap for building a healthier, stronger, and more connected relationship.

My husband and I have been married 37 years. I think like all couples married at length, we have gone through many “seasons”. Even knowing someone over 40 years and loving them to bits, you can encounter new situations, perceptions and problems.

Nadine is very, very good at her calling. She is exceptional at perceiving the needs both of us as individuals, and tuning in to smaller tweaks to ramp up the joy. My husband and I will be continuing our sessions with Nadine in her office, as we both are gaining something deeply meaningful.

Charlotte T.

My husband and I worked with Nadine, she is amazing and very knowledgeable! The sessions were insightful, honest, and helped us understand each other on a deeper level. We truly feel more prepared for marriage—highly recommend for premarital counseling!!

Esther N.

Nadine is bubbly, warm and inviting. She provides a completely safe space to talk in her office about anything you may be going through individually or as a couple. I am so glad I chose her to be my pre-marital counselor. My fiance and I did the SYMBIS test and went over all of the results with her and I learned SO much. I feel so prepared and excited for my future marriage with my fiance; she knows how to balance the sessions to talk about SYMBIS while also talking about real-life situations and how to handle them effectively for now and the future. She has given me the tools to feel ready for marriage and the ups and downs it will bring, and encouraged my fiance and I to not settle for a mediocre marriage – but a marriage that thrives and shines so bright, you’ll see God’s love.
